New Generation Devices

There are a number of consumer electronic devices that don't fit neatly into the traditional TV, video, or hi-fi categories. Few of these new-generation items are radically different to previous ones - usually they combine the functions of different items into a single device. Examples include music players built into mobile phones and other lightweight items, and the modern video games console, which allows the user to watch films, listen to music, or surf the Internet.
