Baked Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 2/3 pound fresh asparagus spears
  • 1 1/2 cloves finely chopped garlic
  • Olive oil cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C. Wash asparagus and trim the stems.
  2. In a small, oven-safe baking pan, place one layer of asparagus. Coat lightly with cooking spray and sprinkle on 1/3 of the garlic. Add another layer of asparagus and repeat until all the asparagus is used.
  3. Place in the oven for 10 minutes. Watch closely. The asparagus should be firm, not limp, when done.
