Pre-Registered

A vehicle that has been registered by the dealer before it is sold to the customer. This type of vehicle is effectively a new car in all but name; the only real difference is that the dealer's name appears as the first registered keeper on the vehicle registration certificate (V5C). Buying a pre-registered car can cost thousands of pounds less than the full list price.
