Lights, Halogen

A type of light that provides brighter, longer lasting illumination than standard incandescent lights. Halogen bulbs are filled with a halogen gas such as bromine or iodine, which reduces the gradual evaporation of the tungsten filament and increases its life. A typical halogen lamp is designed to run about 2,000 hours, twice as long as a typical ordinary incandescent lamp.
