Coupe

A term originally used to describe a vehicle 'cut' by a glass partition behind the front seats that enabled the rear passengers to ride enclosed and the driver exposed.

In modern usage, coupé refers to a closed car with two side doors and less than 33 cubic feet of rear interior volume (i.e. smaller than a saloon). Usually a sporty type.
