Angola

Formally named the Republic of Angola, Angola is a country in south-central Africa bordering Democratic Republic of the Congo, Namibia and Zambia, with its west coast bordering the Atlantic Ocean. The exclave province Cabinda has a border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo.

A former Portuguese colony, Angola has considerable natural resources, most significantly, oil and diamonds. The country is nominally a democracy.
