Ingredients
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1 clove finely chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon spring onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon white sugar
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, green onion, water, hoisin sauce, ginger, and sugar. Mix well, add additional hoisin sauce to thicken mixture to your desired consistency if needed. Cover the sauce, and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours to allow flavours time to blend.
- Before serving, pour mixture into a small saucepan and heat. Serve warm.
