Easy Pizza Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato puree
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed

Instructions

  1. Mix together the tomato puree, water, and olive oil. Mix well. Add garlic, salt and pepper to taste, oregano, basil, and rosemary.
  2. Mix well and let stand for several hours to allow flavours to blend. No cooking is necessary; just spread the sauce evenly on dough.
