Ingredients
- 2 cups plain flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 3/4 cup beer
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 230°C.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in shortening until it has polenta consistency. Stir in beer, and knead lightly.
- Roll dough out to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
