Roulette is a game played with one to eight players, all seated at the roulette table. Each player is assigned a set of unique coloured chips, to differentiate their bets from anyone else's.
As the betting starts, the dealer will call out "Place your bets". This is your cue to place your chips on the numbers and set betting positions (such as odds or evens, red or black, 1st Dozen), on the table layout. After a certain amount of time has elapsed for betting, the dealer spins the wheel and launches the ball in the opposite direction. Chips can be placed or moved until the ball starts to drop onto the carousel, at which point the dealer will warn, "No more bets please", waving their hand across the betting table.
The dealer will then place a marker onto the winning number on the table, and pay out all winning bets. You may not place or remove any chips from the table until this marker is removed.
When you finish playing, you will have to exchange any remaining coloured chips for cash chips at the table at which you are playing. These cash chips can be changed for real cash at the cash desk.
