There is no such thing as a Mortgageforce mortgage- they are not lenders; they are deal hunters (a bit like IFA's), and also support you throughout the homebuying process. An interesting service, especially if you don't have much free time.
The Mortgageforce mortgage service isn't like anything else on the market. It's an advisory service, dedicated to finding you the best product for your needs. You won't have to pay for it, because they make their money in commission from the lender you finally get your mortgage from. In general, that doesn't mean you pay more than you would have, had you found the mortgage by yourself. Furthermore, there are deals only available to financial advisers, so you might get a better service than you could find yourself.
The hitch is, they are NOT Independent Financial Advisers (IFA's). IFA's do almost precisely the same job, and are legally guaranteed to be independent- you have no promise that Mortgageforce are whiter than white (although kickbacks will be fair or they wouldn't stay in business!)
Where the Mortgageforce mortgage search service differs from an IFA is that your adviser will do everything for you, from filling in documents to arranging surveys- so really it's as much a secretarial and support service as an advice service. If you're a very busy professional this might be up your street. Why not try Mortgageforce and test them against your own IFA?
