Plot: A biography of T.E.Lawrence. The young lieutenant Lawrence (Peter O'Toole ) manages to get a job as an observer with Prince Feisal (Alec Guinness), the leader of an Arab tribal army. Lawrence decides to stay and help Feisal, uniting the warring Arab factions into a strong guerrilla front. He leads them to brilliant victories in desert battlefields where they eventually defeat the ruling Turkish empire. His adventures are detailed by Jackson Bentley (Arthur Kennedy), a journalist.
